Temporary Protected Status or TPS

Temporary Protected StatusTemporary Protected Status also known as TPS is a temporary status designated by the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security to allow nationals of certain countries who are unable to safely return home due to natural disasters, ongoing armed conflicts, or other extraordinary circumstances.

Temporary Protected Status is temporary in nature and is granted at the discretion of the U.S. government. It affords those who are eligible to apply for employment authorization and remain in the U.S. under protection from deportation to their country of origin.

We are constantly abreast of the current TPS designations and the eligibility requirements to ensure that our clients enjoy this status to the extent allowed by law.
